CAMEROON: Jardin Eden Centre, Yaoundé

In 2011, the Jardin Eden centre first opened its doors thanks to our generous financial support. Located in the heart of the city of Yaoundé, this centre welcomes 4 to 12 year-old-children (in 1st to 5th grades) whose families live in straitened situations. The centre can welcome around 25 children, two teachers and one manager, Nadège Noa. Since September 2018, rugby is one of the activities taught on-site. And thanks to Josué, nurse and former child from the SBA, we have been able to open an infirmary in September 2020. Josué is present every Friday in the centre.

Organisation of the centre:

  • The centre opens its doors: every afternoon on week days, including holidays
  • On-site activities: after school tutoring, library access, painting and music classes, health care, rugby initiation.
