Becoming a sponsor is a generous act and a personal commitment. For example, by giving £20 or $24 a month*, you cater for most of the needs of a majority of children at one of our centres.
We offer a range of sponsorship packages accessible to all!
You can also make a one-off donation for the amount you choose. This would typically go towards addressing a challenging situation that needs immediate attention. We always look to make your kind gifts go as far as possible for our centres and students.

Where can I send a cheque donation?

You can send in your cheque, made payable to SERGE BETSEN ACADEMY and contact us at this address contact@sergebetsenacademy.org. Our project manager will tell you the right address to send it depending on your location.

How do I donate via bank transfer?

For the UK

If you would like to donate to SERGE BETSEN ACADEMY via bank transfer, please send us an email to contact@sergebetsenacademy.org, and we will send you with our UK bank details.

How much is spent on administration?

For every £1 that you donate to SERGE BETSEN ACADEMY, 85p goes directly to our work with children, 10p is spent on fundraising another £1 and just 5p is spent on administration costs.

Is it possible to get the Serge Betsen Academy annual reports?

Absolutely, you just have to send us an email at contact@sergebetsenacemy.org and we will send it to you.

Can I donate to a specific child as a godparent?

While we are very grateful for any donations we receive, we prefer that funds are directed towards one of our centres to depending on the needs and to avoid inequalities between children. This enables us to send money to where it is needed the most by children and to keep administration costs low.

Can I claim tax relief on my donations?

UK:
Gift Aid is a simple scheme that allows charities to recover the tax already paid on donations made in the last four years at no extra cost to you. By reclaiming tax from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC), Gift Aid is a great way for you to help SERGE BETSEN ACADEMY maximise the value of its donations. That means that every £1 you donate could be worth an extra 25 pence to us.
