Save the date : Charity Dinner, 8 October 2015, London

On the 8th of October 2015, during the Rugby World Cup, SBA is organising a Charity Dinner for the benefit of the Serge Betsen Academy and Indian Ocean Disaster Relief.

Come and join us for this amazing event.

Donation : Rugby Equipment

Thanks to Tony, our US Ambassador to the Serge Betsen Academy for the new helmets, Dan Sosso for the 37 pairs of shoes he was able to collect from the players in Washington DC and of course to Neville from HAE Group who is shipping the 3 big boxes to Cameroon. Photos to follow

Support : Robert, cycling for a good cause

The SBA supports Robert during his Tour de France to promote the donation of blood.

“Dear Robert,

Always ready for a new adventure!
Don’t hesitate to follow and encourage him on this new journey!
Make a rare and precious gift by giving blood!!!
Way to go Robert! I will be with you for each push of the pedal for this long route!!!
Serge Betsen”

If you remember two years ago Robert and William traveled across Europe by bicycle to raise money for the Red Cross and the SBA. You can follow along on Robert’s adventure by visiting his website: http://www.bonsang-jedonne.com/cms/news/news.php, support him on his fb page “Bon Sang je Donne”

Keep an eye open during the Rugby World Cup as we will be reunited with Robert and William for a new challenge!

Event : OB Five Festival

The 20th of June, the first edition of the OB Five Festival was organized to support the SBA.

This event was really appreciated by everyone. Brian Liebenberg was there to represent the SBA. We’re hoping a second edition will take place next year.

Thank you to everyone.

Event : Tournament of the 6 Stations in the Alps

In February, the Tournament of the 6 Stations was held.  This is the 2nd consecutive year since its creation that this event has supported the Serge Betsen Academy.  We were on site and thanks to our booth being present at the very heart of the action at all the ‘stations’, many leisure travellers, skiers, and professionals stopped by. Thanks to them, the Serge Betsen Academy collected over 1,700 euros in donations, which will help the children in our centres and to fund our on-going projects.

On behalf of the Serge Betsen Academy team and the children we would like to thank these generous donors for their interest in our projects, their smiles, and pleasant shared moments which allowed us to bear the cold.
